Yucca filamentosa × pallida 'Silver Anniversary' PP 31437
Yucca
Currently unavailable
Introduced by Plant Delights/JLBG in 2018, Yucca 'Silver Anniversary' is a striking hybrid resulting from the crossbreeding of two native North American soapwort species, Yucca filamentosa and Yucca pallida. This remarkable yucca variety forms a robust clump, expanding to approximately 2 feet in height and 4 feet in width, and it reproduces rapidly. The wide, powder-blue leaves of 'Silver Anniversary' provide an appealing backdrop. The clumps produce impressive flower spikes, reaching a towering height of 7 feet, initially displaying a rich burgundy hue. As these spikes unfurl, they reveal a magnificent cascade of pendant, bell-shaped white flowers. The vitality and offsetting tendencies of this blue-leaved hybrid are notably superior to those of either parent, making it a genuinely distinctive and beautiful addition to your garden.
