Currently unavailable
Starts as a shrub and eventually becomes and tree-like structure with a main trunk and a few branching sections with spear like leaves. Very slow growing, about an inch a year. Requires dry, well-draining soils and little to no irrigation. High sunlight and heat are also necessary. Alkaline, sandy soils are preferred. Surprisingly cold tolerant, often surviving down to 0 degrees Fahrenheit. Spikes of creamy withe flowers appear in summer and are a favorite for many pollinators. Native to Southern North America, including parts of Utah.
