Indiangrass Yellow Prairie Grass
Currently unavailable
Very similar to Calamagrostis 'Karl Foerster' in looks and adaptability. Taller and later flowering, with similar tan seedheads that last well into winter. Slightly brighter yellow stalks hold the golden-brown inflorescence, creating more of a tricolor than two-tone effect. Tightly bunched foliage of a nice medium green. Tolerates dry or moist soils and hot locations. Can reproduce from seeds, remove if seeding is unwanted.
