Silver Totem Buffaloberry
Shepherdia argentea 'Silver Totem'
Buffaloberry
Currently unavailable
Originating from Colorado with narrow, silvery leaves covered in fine white hairs that reflect light. In the spring, small, inconspicuous yellow-green flowers bloom, attracting pollinators like bees and butterflies and may be followed by small, bright red berries. Since this variety is all female, a male plant will need to be present for berry production. The tart berries can be used to make jelly or sauces. May sucker or spread with higher water availability.
