Foliage emerges silvered and ages to a silvery green with soft purple edges. Highly fragrant and often used to flavor tea. Clusters of small white flowers bloom in late summer into fall and are highly attractive to many pollinators. Prefers well-draining soils and can tolerate drought and dry soils with ease. Best coloring in full sun though it can tolerate shade as well. Spreads slowly by rhizomes but can easily be controlled by dividing or simply digging out any unwanted growth.
