Lydecker Hybrid Plum Fruit Tree
Prunus x salicina 'Lydecker' Black Ice®
Hybrid Plum Fruit Tree
Currently unavailable
A delicious dessert-quality plum with deep black-purple skin, rich red flesh that is juicy, firm, and sweet. Extremely cold tolerant with improved bud frost tolerance as well as early ripening help produce fruit most years. Requires a pollinizer for fruit production: Superior, Hollywood, or any Asian or American plum blooming at the same time will work. Height and width will be dependent on pruning, though it typically does not reach more than 15' tall.
