Low growing, thick mats of shiny, spicy-scented foliage stay around 3 inches tall. Spring brings numerous yellow 5-petaled flowers. Spreads through stems that will root where they touch the ground or by reseeding. Not overly aggressive and easily contained if desired. Does well between pavers or rocks in cooler areas or with afternoon shade. Does not thrive in extreme summer heat and may need some afternoon shade.
