Fremont Poplar
In stock · from $169.99
Commonly known as the Fremont Cottonwood, is a majestic, fast-growing deciduous tree native to areas across the Southwestern United States. The specific variety Populus fremontii 'Nevada' is a popular male clone selected from parent stock in Carson City, Nevada. No "Cotton": As a male clone, it does not produce the messy, wind-dispersed cotton fluff common to female cottonwoods. Reduced Suckering: It is often marketed as suckering less aggressively than other varieties, making it slightly more manageable in large landscapes
