Picea pungens glauca 'Select Blue'
Colorado Blue Spruce
Currently unavailable
Pyramidal evergreen tree renowned for its robust, horizontal branches and enduring bright blue needles. It serves as an excellent choice for windbreaks due to its hardy and resilient nature. This dense evergreen maintains its blue hue throughout the winter, enhanced by its hints of silver. The rough gray bark adds an intriguing visual dimension to the landscape. While generally low-maintenance, it may require occasional pruning to trim back new growth or remove any dieback. Additionally, it is not particularly appealing to deer.
