Mountain Ninebark
Currently unavailable
Physocarpus monogynus is a many branched, erect deciduous shrub, only 2 to 3 feet tall, with a similar spread. It's name is derived from having a single style in its blossoms, distinguishing it from the Mallow Ninebark. It has small, 3-lobed, ovate leaves with toothed edges. Tiny, white or rose- tinged flowers appear in small corymbs in early summer. Quite pretty for massing or low hedges.
