Stalks of nearly black buds open to red flowers that attract multiple pollinators with a long bloom time from summer into fall. Lush green foliage is dense, elongated heart-shaped leaves that make a good ground cover that turns yellow in fall. Not aggressive and easy to grow. Performs best with ample water, cooler locations, and full sun, though can tolerate some shade.
