Frostbite™ Apple Fruit Tree
Malus domestica 'Frostbite™'
Apple Fruit Tree
Currently unavailable
Small, juicy, crisp, and super sweet apples are perfect for fresh eating, desserts, or making cider. This semi-dwarf tree is extremely cold-hardy and tolerates late frosts better than other varieties. Ripens late in the season with a striped red over gold background. A grandparent tree to Honeycrisp, lending the sweet flavor and dappled skin. Thrives in full sun with well-draining soil. Requires a second apple tree or a crabapple in the vicinity for pollination, almost any Malus blooming mid-season will work.
