Jim Wilson Sweet Bay Magnolia
Magnolia virginiana 'Jim Wilson' Moonglow®
Sweet Bay Magnolia
Currently unavailable
An evergreen magnolia with better cold tolerance and beautiful creamy white flowers in spring. Prefers moist, acidic soil and can even tolerate some standing water or clay that does not drain quickly. Large, glossy dark green leaves have slightly silver undersides and fill in the upright oval crown year-round. In the right location with favorable conditions, this tree could reach up to 35 feet by 18 feet, but in Utah's climate, that is unlikely.
