Blue Lyme Grass

Leymus arenarius

Blue Lyme Grass

Currently unavailable

A fast-spreading, cool-season grass with striking, steel-blue foliage and upright, wheat-like flower spikes in summer. This salt-tolerant and deer-resistant ornamental grass is well-suited for erosion control, coastal landscapes, or large, contained areas. However, its aggressive rhizomatous growth can be invasive, so it should be used with caution and often grown in containers to prevent it from outcompeting other plants.
