Royal purple flowers with wildly irregular, spattered and streaked white markings on both the standards and falls. Highly adaptive to many garden cocniditions like clay or sandy soil, dry or ocassionally wet locations, and even some shade. Early blooming compared to other iris, opening in late spring to early summer. Great for cutting so the unique and intricate flowers can be enjoyed up close.
