Narrow columnar form with dark green foliage that stays year round. Small purple berries appear in fall with a male pollenizer nearby. Makes an elegant formal statement in the landscape. Best if used in a container which the root zone temps can be controlled for winters. Typically does not perform well in UT soils, but we have seen a few exceptions. Columnar Boxwoods are a better option.
