Dramatic 10-inch red flowers bloom from mid-summer into fall over a mound of green foliage. With enough sun, the leaves will have a burgundy cast to them. Heat-loving and late to start growing but make a great addition to gardens that bloom mostly in spring and tend to lose color by late summer. Best flowers occur with consistent irrigation through summer dry spells.
