Showy silvery-green foliage lends an interesting texture to landscapes. In summer, 1.5" spheres of prickly-looking bright blue flowers rise on singular stems well above the leaves. Blooms last a long time and are great for cutting or drying for arrangements. Tolerant of dry, alkaline soils and salt. Great in mass plantings, cottage gardens or as a single focal point in small spaces.
