Goldfinch Scotch broom
Cytisus scoparius 'Goldfinch'
Scotch broom
Currently unavailable
A multi-colored Scotch broom cultivar known for its fragrant, arching branches that display a profusion of pea-like yellow and deep pinkish-red flowers. This ornamental shrub is a popular choice for sunny, dry areas and provides vibrant spring color. While the species Cytisus scoparius is considered invasive in certain regions (particularly the Pacific Northwest), cultivated varieties like 'Goldfinch' are often less aggressive. Responsible planting in appropriate regions is still recommended. All parts of Scotch broom are toxic if ingested by humans or pets.
