A hardy shade loving plant that spreads quickly by rhizomes. Best used in areas where spread will be restricted by physical barriers like concrete of buildings. White bell-shaped flowers droop along stems in tidy lines in spring and are great for cutting and bouquets. Tolerates clay soils and frequently wet areas. Easy to grow but can easily out compete other species in ideal growing conditions and may be difficult to remove. Toxic to many animals and humans.
