Emerald Spreader Deodar Cedar is a compact, prostrate dwarf conifer with rich green foliage that grows slowly, reaching only 1 foot in height and 4 feet in width over a decade. This makes it an ideal decorative groundcover for open, sunny areas. Its dark green evergreen needles provide year-round ornamental appeal. It's a low-maintenance shrub, resistant to deer, and well-suited for mass plantings or groundcover. This variety thrives in full sunlight, adapts to various soil conditions, and is somewhat tolerant of urban settings. With a slow growth rate, it can live for over 50 years.
