Karl Fuchs Deodor Himalayan Cedar
Cedrus deodara 'Karl Fuchs'
Deodor Himalayan Cedar
In stock · from $362.99
A sizable evergreen tree with striking silvery-blue needles and pendulous branches that gracefully droop at the tips. This tree thrives in full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil. It's perfect as a garden specimen or accent, particularly alongside lighter green foliage plants. 'Karl Fuchs' is hardier than Cedrus deodara, adapting to both moist and dry soil conditions but not tolerating standing water. This cultivar stands out with its trailing leader, pendulous habit, and softer, more graceful appearance with longer 1.5-inch needles. Its spring growth is vivid blue, maturing to green, creating an eye-catching appearance. Interestingly, it's best left unpruned to maintain its natural beauty.
