Cedrus deodara 'Devinely Blue'
Deodar Himalayan Cedar
In stock · from $336.99
Semi-dwarf evergreen pine, featuring striking light blue-green needles and a wider-than-tall growth pattern. Initially mounding when young, it later takes on a conical shape. Its branches gracefully droop, and lower branches are close to the ground. This slow-to-medium grower adds about 6 inches in height annually, reaching about 5 feet in height and 6 feet in width within a decade and can live for over 50 years. Plant it in well-drained, sunny spots with dry, acidic soil, and it can tolerate drought and some sheltered conditions. It's resistant to certain issues, including verticillium wilt and deer browsing, and it handles heat and humidity well. Ideal for large containers, rock gardens, or as an accent plant adding year-round interest to your landscape with its unique blue needles, and compact size that suits planting under power lines.
