Wide, evergreen, silvery blue-green blades stay in a dense clump. Adds texture and color to shade gardens but can tolerate near full sun conditions with adequate water. Does well in moist soils and can tolerate occasionally wet soil but not for long periods. Can be occasionally drought tolerant when established. Cut back in late winter for best appearance. Great companion for hostas or alone in mass plantings.
