Baptisia alba
White Wild False Indigo
In stock · from $14.99
Very large perennial with nearly black spikes of white flowers up to 6 feet tall when fully grown. Vase shaped habit can grow up to 4 feet wide with rounded blue-green leaves. Does not transplant well due to a deep root system, so plant young. Drought tolerant when established but prefers consistently moist soils. Does best with protection from the worst afternoon sun. Great for pollinator gardens, naturalized meadows, or rain gardens.
