Soulmate Butterfly Weed Rose Milkweed
Asclepias incarnata 'Soulmate'
Butterfly Weed Rose Milkweed
Currently unavailable
A prime choice for luring butterflies to your garden! As a soulmate to these lovely insects, it offers rose-pink flowers adorned with white star-like centers, brimming with nectar that beckons butterflies. What's more, its leaves create a cozy haven for Monarch eggs and caterpillars. The flowers, redolent of vanilla, bloom in appealing clusters on branching stems. In the spring, the plants emerge late but require minimal care once established. Asclepias incarnata is also a magnet for other pollinators, including hummingbirds, hummingbird moths, bumblebees, honeybees, and an array of butterflies, such as eastern tiger swallowtails, buckeyes, fritillaries, hairstreaks, and spicebush swallowtails.
