Artemisia tridentata var. tridentata
Big Sage Brush
Currently unavailable
A native shrub with young stems that are smooth and silvery, but as the plant matures, these stems turn grayer and the bark starts to grow in long strips. The gray-green leaves are wedge-shaped. Flowering stems grow near the ends of the branches. Very commonly used in native and restoration plantings, but are often less adaptable to more well manicured gardens.
