Sand Sagebrush
Artemisia filifolia
Sand Sagebrush
Currently unavailable
Slender light gray-green leaves are spaced along nearly white branches the grow straight upward with lightly arching tips. Lends a softer texture than other large sagebrush varieties. Inconspicuous yellow flowers create seeds that become an important food source for birds while the plant itself becomes a safe place for nesting. Strong root systems help prevent erosion of sandy soils. Thrives in well-draining soil with little to no irrigation.
