Agave havardiana
Havard's Century Plant
In stock · from $37.99
A cold tolerant agave with attractive blue-silver leaves. The thick, broad leaves have incredibly sharp spines along the margins, with a long black spike on the tip of each leaf and should not be placed near areas with heavy traffic to prevent injury. Thrives in full sun with quickly draining soil, though it can tolerate slightly more water than some other varieties. Plants take 10 years to reach maturity at which time they may flower with a massive 10 foot spire of fragrant, golden flowers. The plant will die after flowering, though it may produce offsets.
