Katsura Hime is a delightful Japanese maple with leaves that are deeply divided and offer an array of seasonal colors. In the spring, foliage emerges pale yellow-orange and then fades to an attractive light green during the summer months, ending in beautiful soft yellows and oranges in the fall. It is a hardy cultivar that does best in well-drained soil, but can do thrive in sandy soils and even clay!
